The self-titled third album from New Orleans hardcore punks PEARS is 14 songs and 31 minutes of the band's signature sound — heavy, melodic, blistering, and surprisingly catchy. Recorded with Chris Fogal (The Gamits) at Black in Bluhm Studio in Denver, the album was written on the fly, and the result is ankle-breaking tempo changes, frenetic guitar riffs, and impelling vocals.
