Their self-titled debut album was released in 1976 on Epic Records.[1] Helped by the singles "More Than a Feeling", "Foreplay/Long Time", and "Peace of Mind", the album peaked at number three on the Billboard chart and remained on the chart for 132 weeks.[2][3] It went platinum 17 times in the United States and was the best-selling debut album in history.[1][4] "More Than a Feeling" peaked at number five on the Billboard Hot 100.[2]
